Efficacy functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) for the treatment of chronic rhinosinusitis

Objective: To assess the efficacy and quality of life after functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) in individuals who have chronic rhinosinusitis. Methods: This prospective study was held department ENT Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital ENT, Head Neck Surgery department, Pak International Medical College Peshawar Institute Sciences (PIMS), Hayatabad for duration from September 2021 to 2022. The had 80 patients total underwent FESS surgery. Inclusion criteria: radiographically clinically suggested disease paranasal sinuses nose, such as rhinosporidiosis, nasal polyposis, recurrent acute sinusitis are not improving receiving proper surgical care (antral lavage) medical care.
